Drug and Alcohol Rehab in the Longview, WA Area

As mentioned previously, attending an alcohol or drug rehab program is one of the earliest steps you should take when trying to obtain sobriety. Rehab programs instruct you in the different reasons behind why you drink or use, and develop the tools and strategies needed to combat them. Rehab is usually fairly intensive, considering both you and the staff both want you to get the most out of your time in the program.

Rehab programs come in many different forms and makeup so it is wise to do as much research as possible before choosing which one you want to attend. You can usually set up an evaluation session and express the different things that make your addiction unique. The professionals you meet with are then able to identify and let you know what types of therapy are right for you, and whether or not they have it as an option. This gives a clear-cut picture of whether or not it is the right program.

Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities in Longview, WA

Four different rehab facilities make their home in Longview. One of these rehab programs has the capacity to treat alcoholics, while all of them are equipped to handle different types of drug addiction as well. All four of these rehab centers are made up strictly of outpatient programs.

Northpoint the Evergreen

Northpoint the Evergreen is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program with locations in both Seattle and Bellevue. While this is a bit more of a drive than attending a program directly in Longview, the extra time it takes to get there is well worth the effort. There are advantages to attending a drug or alcohol rehab program that is located outside of your hometown. More privacy, less chance of running into someone you know and far removal from harmful atmospheres and triggers are all excellent reasons to travel to the facility at Northpoint the Evergreen.

There are many other advantages to attending Northpoint the Evergreen, including the wide variety of therapy options we offer. In addition to standard fare, such as group and individual therapy, we also offer many holistic options. We teach you how to take care of your body and mind, which is a staple of maintaining sobriety. We are also equipped to handle co-occurring disorder, or dual diagnosis.

Northpoint Washington

Northpoint Washington is an organization dedicated to helping people overcome their addictions to drugs or alcohol. Our beautiful facility is located in Seattle, and is equipped with the staff and programs needed to turn your addiction from disaster into a success story. We have separate programs for drug and alcohol addiction, each of which concentrates on the nuances of that addiction in specific. If you need an inpatient drug or alcohol rehab program, Northpoint Washington may indeed be the best answer.

Alcohol Rehab

One of the most uncomfortable feelings you can experience is ridding your body of its dependency on alcohol. As such, our 28-day alcohol rehab program begins with a detox period, which lasts a total of seven days. Once your body has made the adjustment, the lessons learned in the remaining rehab portion of the program can be absorbed without the discomfort of drying out.

Drug Rehab

Adjusting your body to an absence of drugs can be as bad, or even worse at times, than doing so with alcohol. Our program begins with this detox process, and may require medicated detox depending on what your drug of choice is and how often it is taken. The successful completion of detox means you are ready to move on to the rehab portion of the program. The lessons and skills learned during the remaining three weeks will help and stay with you for the rest of your life.

Health Insurance

Northpoint the Evergreen and Northpoint Washington are both members of a wide variety of health insurance networks. We understand that paying out of pocket for drug and alcohol rehab is virtually impossible for most people, which means the addiction treatment they need will stay out of reach. As a result, we have made it our mission to accept as many carriers and policies we possibly can.

Northpoint the Evergreen

Our Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facility

The Evergreen at Northpoint is located two and a half hours away from the Longview area by car. For those who believe that professional treatment is the right course of action for them, our facility may be the best option.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)

Not everyone can make a commitment to attend inpatient rehab. When they cannot, they can easily feel as though there is no hope for their recovery. We want you to know that this is not true at all. In fact, attending an intensive outpatient treatment program, or IOP, can be just as effective.

Our IOP offers a very high level of care for those who may be new to recovery. It requires regular attendance during the program, which often runs during the evening hours, Monday through Friday. There are those who may attend the program for only three nights, and those who need all five. Every person is an individual with unique needs.

Medical Detox

Prior to starting rehab, many people need to go through the detoxification process as their first step. In most cases, this means being recommended for medical detox. This is a type of addiction treatment that allows people to take medications to help with their withdrawal symptoms. It is considered a very important step that should not be skipped under any circumstances. For many types of addictions it is required.
